Following the last book published in 2006 within the scope of the publications of the Department of Culture under the Ministry of Deputy Prime Ministry, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, Ahmet An's book titled "List of Books Printed in Turkish in Cyprus (1878-2022)" was published by the Department of Culture for the first time. Director of the Department of Culture Şirin Zaimağaoğlu made a statement on the subject and pointed out that the book provides bibliographic information of the books published in our country between 1878-2022, separated by subject.

With the contributions of the Department of Culture, a chess event was organized with the organization of Yenierenköy Public Library and Yenierenköy Karpaz Municipality. The event was held at Derince Culture House with the initiative of Şirin Zaimağaoğlu, Director of the Department of Culture, and Ümit Antel took part as an instructor. All children who participated in the event were presented with a chess set by the Department of Culture.

The collective catalog, which serves as the electronic catalog of the National Library and public libraries in our country and is open to the use of all citizens, has been renewed with the decision taken and the responsibility assumed by the Department of Culture. The collective catalog, which was moved to the most up-to-date technical infrastructure, was also put into use with its renewed face.
